Sensational choice of mountains to train on and maybe in 2016 Falls Creek could be incorporated? The pool was great for recovery and nice to swim or sit in the sun after each days ride, chat and have a few cold drinks!

The camp was excellent and exceeded my expectations! The alpine cycling and coaching was superb with optimal recovery time after each ride to rest for the next day mountain stage.

Great Camp and a great time. Would do it again if I can.

You can expect Ride distances to vary between 50 and 120km & ascents from 415m to 2970m. All of the rides are ‘out and back’ which allows for each rider to complete as much or as little of each ride as she wishes.
As the camp is held in the Alpine region and the emphasis each day is geared towards hill climbing it isn’t all up hill. If you have a good base fitness and are doing a minimum of 1 hill climbing session each week for 5 weeks before the camp you should be able to complete each days rides.
A full list of recommended clothing will be sent before the camp in your “Ride Guide”.
It would be recommended that you have compact gearing with a minimum of a 28 cog on the back. Better to have it and not use it than to be left wanting on the climbs.
Please bring your normal spares such as tubes and gas cylinders. If you run other than Shimano or Campagnolo 11 speed gearing please bring a spare rear wheel as well.
While every effort is made to ride each day sometimes the weather may not be in our favour. As it is in an Alpine region e can change rides to suit the days weather and have done this as needed previously. With options for shorter harder rides we can also do more Yoga & Stretching sessions along with S & C sessions.
Your Camp Info Booklet & Ride guide will have the overview for each days rides along with a description of elevations and distances. All rides will have a GPX file available prior to the camp. You can simply upload these to your Garmin.
Don’t forget you will have ride guides and a support car each day so you won’t be on your own on the rides.
Camp Registrations start from 11am and the first ride leaves Delany Lodge at 2pm.
